6 Week Introduction to Mindfulness

If you have never practiced mindfulness and are curious about why its getting so much attention and what it entails, this is the course for you. Equally if you have practiced mindfulness before and want to develop a regular practice or re-engage with your practice and learn new techniques, this is also the course for you.

Set over 6 weeks, Andy will teach you the basics and more on how to implement mindfulness into your life.

Mindfulness is a way of dealing with the unpredictabilities of life, of coming up with an appropriate response and reacting less irrationally as your feeling of peace increases. It’s a simple technique however can take a little practice to master, but it’s been proven to help ease the symptoms of depression as effectively as medication.

On completing this 6 week course, you can attend our regular mindfulness sitting group to join like-minded individuals in their continuing journey to coping with life’s stresses.

Timetable

We run 3 courses per year. Our most recent course started in May 2019. Our next 6 week Introduction to Mindfulness course starts on 5th Septmber 2019. Dates of the course will be 5th September, 12th September, 19th September, 3rd October, 10th October, 17th October. Please note there will be a mid-term break on 26th September. The course will be based in our studio. Times of classes will be 7.30pm – 9.00pm.
